We just ran a special guided tour for the month of February and we are interested in seeing how many of the people who signed up for it were new to us. I ran the Attendance report and saved it as a list and then used an output set that included the constituent create date. But I feel like there must be some way in Analytics to see for how many people this was the first event they signed up for. I'm a bit rusty on analytics, but thought I'd see if anyone else has been looking at this kind of data this way.
Thanks!
Anne
Heath Wilder had a fancy presentation on this type of thing a while back, I'll link it here.
I'll defer to him for the specifics, but it revolves around lists targeted at certain seasons/time periods, and filtering dashboards through them- Ex) a list that looks at a constituent that
a) has purchased tickets this season
AND
b) not purchased tickets in past seasons
Here it is!

Thanks to you both! I'll let you know, Heath Wilder if I need help.
