Running Sales Total over Time

Thanks for that; I can't seem to get a running total to work. What formula does this widget use for "Paid Amount"? I try using RSUM, and get "Error Querying Elasticube" and "Unknown Error".

Yes that's what I'm using too - RSUM([Total Ticket Paid Amount]) and that works for me. Not sure why you are getting the error ... if no one else has any suggestions, you may need to submit a support ticket to Tessitura?

Interesting; my formula is just RSUM([Ticket Paid Amount]). Do you think that makes a difference? And again, thanks for your help with this!

Hi Steven.  Try importing this and changing Season & Cube.  It should look a little like this otherwise you might want to raise a ticket or post your dash here and I'll have a look

I think it does make a difference - I use RSUM a lot and my formula is also RSUM([Total Ticket Paid Amount]) - if I switch it to just [Ticket Paid Amount] I get that same error. 

I have had issues where I'm editing a regular SUM formula and just add the R where it creates that incorrect formula - I suggest deleting the value, and starting from scratch, going straight into the Formula (fx) editor when adding the new value and typing RSUM() and then finding and selecting "ticket paid amount" which should default to the SUM when you select it.

SUM([Ticket Paid Amount]) and [Total Ticket Paid Amount] are the same.

Hence you can use the formula as RSUM([Total Ticket Paid Amount])  or RSUM(SUM([Ticket Paid Amount]))
but not RSUM([Ticket Paid Amount])
