Widget Export - Losing Pivot Data

Hi All,

I'm hoping you can help with with an export issue. When exporting a dashboard via PDF, I'm finding data from the pivot tables, especially horizontally is going missing. Both in the email format and PDF for download. From the example below, I'm only missing most of the decimals, but with other widget's its whole columns.

Is there a way of 'shrink to fit'-ing the pivot tables to ensure the data isn't missing for management?

Do let me know if I've missed this discussion already. Smile

And thanks for everyone's continued help and support with my inquiries. They're greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

  • Hey Amy,

I had this same problem and had to do the following:
    1. Adjust the column widths so that they are as tight as possible and delete any columns that were nut must-haves
    2. Play around with the orientation of the report. In many cases you can select landscape vs portrait and it will fit more columns because you have more width to play with.
    3. Create separate widgets for every 30 rows so that you can adjust them to fit on each page.
I hope that helps. I am happy to send you the .dash file of the huge pivot table report that is emailed to my VP every day if you want to see how it is laid out.

    Best,
    Michael
  • It's also been suggested that one tries the Tabloid Page Size and Landscape.
