Here's an over simplified example of what I'm trying to do in Analytics:
I've got total ticket sales broken out by season (that part is easy and I have been able to get that far in Analytics). What I can't seem to figure out is column C: how to get a calculation that compares a season's sales with the previous season. Is this something that is even possible?

Yes there are a number of ways to do this. One of the ways to do this is to turn off the filtering for the particular widget and put filters on the formulas.

Thanks Tom. I had been trying to do something like that (and I currently don't have any filters on my widget) but I am stuck and how exactly to craft that formula. I'm imagining it would look something like "SUM([Ticket Paid Amount] , Fiscal Year/Season)" and then use the advanced filtering, but I kept running into "Query Failed" on the advanced filter for fiscal year. I'm not sure if it's because I was just writing it wrong, or needed a different data point to filter, or since I was trying to do years and not days that doesn't work? Any suggestions on what field I should be using to filter on? I want it to be Season - 1 or Fiscal Year -1, but maybe that's not possible? I don't need necessarily year to date, I just want to look at the season as a whole.
