I've built a dashboard in Analytics to basically show subscriber exchanges out of performances.
However, I'm having some trouble explaining to our CEO what exactly that "Ticket Exchange Amount" represents, in a way that makes sense to him.
So far, I've explained that the Ticket Exchange Amount value is showing the total values of subscription tickets that have been returned to that performance. It's possible that some subscribers exchanged from one night to another, so even though they returned one performance of that show, they still did go and their money still lives in the overall event total.
Additionally, the larger issue is that it's not a net value of exchanged out and exchanged in money, so I think that is also hindering things, but from what I understand, there isn't anything that links where the money goes.
Hopefully, that all makes sense. Any help or advice (even in general) about explaining things to upper management would be greatly appreciated!
