User unable to see dashboard data / not sticking to associated group

Hi friends,

I'm still learning the ins and outs of Analytics, so I thought this would be a good place to start.

My question will lead to.. Am I approaching this issue the right way?


Issue: User unable to see shared dashboard data. Returns "No Results"( image below). However, when shared with me "System Admin" I'm able to view it.

To resolve, I figured this user needed access to "seats and tickets" cube as this dashboard is categorized in it.

However, when I add the user to a group, in my case group "TessSeats and Tickets", the user gets removed from the group as soon as the user attempts to open the dashboard again.

For example,

  • I add user to Seats and Tickets Group. I double check the user and group and see that the user is saved in the group.
  • User logs into Analytics and opens the dashboard and still returns "no results"
  • I check the group users and see that the user was automagically removed from the user list. I then add the user again, repeat the process, and the user gets removed every time.

Is this normal or am I approaching this issue incorrectly?
