Hello,
We just had a major exhibition close on Sunday and I'm trying to pull together a dashboard for our CEO with some numbers. Something is definitely off in this dashboard, however. When I run the Attendance by Performance report for this period (April 6-October 6, 2019) for just our GA museum admission tickets, I get 34,071 having attended. But the dashboard is telling me 34,495.
I think something is also off with the bottom widget for average daily attendance for 2018 vs 2019. I'm going with calendar years here since I think it is less confusing than FY, but our attendance is way up over 2018, so I'm not sure how the daily averages are almost all higher for 2018. I'm guessing I have something set wrong.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!Anne

What version of Tessitura / Tessitura Analytics are you using? I'm on 15.0.4 and based on my experience I might expect that this version may have difficulties with a scenario you are describing.
For example, are:
In the version I'm using the two cases above are causing us to need to implement some workarounds.
We are waiting until the release of 15.1.4 and hoping that it will resolve those and other issues.
Hi Tom, We're on 15.1.3. These are all free, general admission tickets to the museum. No hold codes and no packages. They should be pretty straight forward. And I was trying to only grab those that were marked as attended, since a "sale" doesn't really mean anything with a free ticket. I want to know how many were actually scanned in.
I tried changing my formula from total attended tickets to total seat count since part of the issue may stem from scanning issues, but it still hasn't fixed things.
It may be worth putting in a support ticket.
Hi Anne,
Try the SLI Status filter on that dashboard to align with the Attendance by Performance's logic of showing only "sub line items (SLIs) in the Seated, Paid status or the Ticketed, Paid status for the selected performances?"

I played with all of the prebuilt filters from the dashboard I copied this over from, including that one, and it didn't change my numbers.
