Inactive Constituent with an Overdue Step

Happy Tuesday -

We have a inactive constituent (deceased) who has a plan with an overdue step. This is impacting our count of Steps in our Plan & Steps dashboard.

Anyone have any idea how to close that step from the inactive constituent? The save button is grayed out and the completed date box is non-responsive when you click on it.

  • You can always reactivate the constituent, close the step, then inactive the constituent again. That might get tiresome if you have a bunch of steps to close on inactive accounts though.

  • Thanks! I have no idea why I didn't think to do that...blame it on the rainy Tuesday!

  • Hi Angela
If you re-activate the deceased constituent (from the Constituents tab on the Toolbar), you can then amend the Plan Step, and then make the constituent inactive again.
    Hope that helps.
