Daily Sales Report

Hi all,

Updating this as I'm down to a few fixes needing resolved, if anyone has any tips or solutions.

1. Dynamic performance drop off; when a show finishes, how could I get it to drop off the list? I have the filter for date and can choose either 'this year and next' or 'from today' (but that requires a manual change daily)

2. Host both ticket movement and total ticket sales in same table: having a column for total ticket sales is straight forward. I've now managed to show the daily movement by adding the 'order date' filter to show ticket movement yesterday. However I would like this fitler to only apply to that one column...any ideas on how I do this? That would mean I had two 'ticket count' columns but one is filtered by the 'order date' to create a 'daily sales movement'

3. Unsold tickets: Lastly, I would like to see the number of unsold tickets that I have. At the minute, this data field includes all holds - is there a field that I can create a simple ruling of {unsold seat} - {holds}? the only field I can find for holds is the number of hold codes, not the number of seats against these holds.

4. Display in reports: I have this scheduled to email every morning. The problem is with 4+ columns, it cuts off a lot of the information. On the pdf option, I have changed this to landscape but it doesn't seem to update on reports. Will a scheduled report always pull portrait?

Thanks in advance for any help! Once I have this report, happy to share with anyone who would like it.

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help as I can't appear to find a suitable report.

I want to look at a sales report that lists key information

  1. production season name
  2. date of production
  3. total sales
  4. ticket movement from set perimeter (the day prior)

The closest thing is the tickets by period, however it lists the shows by production code (i need show name) and gives only movement, not an overview of the total sales. It is good in the sense that it can be grouped by week though.

We have approximately 150 production seasons on-sale at any one time, so a single daily report is needed to give a 'state of the nation' as such.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Ashleigh
