Hi everyone! I think I'm missing something silly here, but I can't seem to get my GL amounts in Analytics to match up to what I have in my GL Summary Report. I've matched every parameter on the report to the widget that I'm working in, but I'm off by about $38k, and I can't figure out why. What am I missing here? Does anyone else have this built out in Analytics (aka can I see how you did it?).
EDIT: I'm matching this up with sales from yesterday, so dates are good there. (I just double checked that these numbers are still off).
Here is what I have in Analytics so far:
What I have on my GL Summary Report:
Jordan,
The report is pulling off posting dates, as indicated in the report documentation:
I can't tell from the screenshot, is analytics set to pull off posting date as well?
Best,
Rachel
I have spent time trying to get Analytics to pull off posting date, and have not been successful. I'm following this thread closely!
Yeah, I also have analytics set to pull off of posting dates. No luck getting it to match that way either.
Hi Jordan,
v15.0 Analytics does have Post Date available in the Finance cube. Scroll down in this help page to see Post Date Dimension.
And in v15.1, Analytics actually has a \Tessitura Examples\GL Summary dashboard intended for matching the GL Summary Report in Tessitura:

This is great, Chris, thanks! I just ran through this example in my environment and have found that we are REALLY close to matching but are still off by a slight bit. What could cause this? I have the exact same parameters (date, GL numbers, FY) on both. The total net is only off by $115 but if you look at the debits and credits they are wildly different!
Would you mind pushing that through to support, please? Support can help rule own known defects and then we can get it sorted from there.
Thanks, Madeline.Chris
