Hello All,
Just getting started in Analytics for our organization, so forgive me if there is something I am missing. But I am creating a dashboard for our Marketing team, and I would like to use the Scatter Map. However, every time the map opens up, it shows the entire world. Lovely to be sure, but I was hoping I would be able to find a way to set up a sort of "default view" over the region of the state/country that is our "bread and butter" area, if you will, rather than have to zoom in from the macro view every time someone opens the dashboard.
Thanks!
John

You might want to try this described on the sisense web site.

It has worked for me.
Chris Wallingford is there a simpler way?

Here is a fancier way that I did not try yet because I'm on RAMP and this is a Plugin which I don't think that I can install.

Tom,
Thank you very much, this did the trick for me!
We are RAMP as well, so I doubt I can do this either.
The Sisence web site is not longer providing documentation on the version of Sisense we are currently using. Therefor this link is not longer working.https://support.sisense.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/221225788-Auto-Zoom-Scatter-Map
Does anyone have the code to Zoom a Tessitura Analytics Map down to just the area one wants to show?
Auto-Zoom Scatter Map - Sisense Support Knowledge Base
Their documentation is open to Google search too.
Cheers
Thanks. One of my favorite types of searches is something like this.
site:sisense.com Auto-Zoom Scatter Map
The site: operator helps focus ones search to a particular web site.
Thanks for sharing the Auto-Zoom code. Do I need to make any adjustments to the code to make it stop zooming out to the world view? I've added it to the script editor for my widget, but it keeps zooming back out to world view every time I make a data adjustment.
Hi All - disregard this. I adjusted my filter order and it worked.
