Single Ticket Jump to Dashboard Widget behavior

Hey all.

 

We just started with analytics we're questioning the output.  Not because we think the numbers are wrong, but because we're saying, "What are you really doing here little widget?"

 

The single ticket jump to dashboard has built-in text filters for the price type category to filter out sub and comp text values, yes?

 

I have a price type with a description that is labeled "Subscriber Discount" with a category of Discount.  What I am interpreting is that the widget is actually filtering out comp and sub values on the price type description and not the category.  

 

Has anyone else see this behavior and if so, what did you do to fix it?
