Call me Captain Obvious, but can I assume that there is no Cube that connects with Special Activity data?
Hello Heath, That is correct. We have some ideas for special activities in version 16, but I can't make any firm commitments at this time. Can you please give an example of what you would like to report on? Thanks!
Hi John, Thanks for checking in.
At the moment my team is requesting some simple things for checking on Opening Night events eg: a pie chart of status for a particular Activity Type/Date.
However in the future I’d love data from Activities and Elevated events in analytics so I can graph engagement points (Activities/Elevated Events/Ticketing) vs Contribution revenue or CLV. It’d also be interesting to see how customer engagement changes over time. And what activity types and times generate the best revenue. I’m sure there are many more uses but that’s a few off the top of my list.
I'm tracking our Gala contributions in Analytics, but because I can't figure out how to pull Elevated Event data into the widget/dashboard, I can't see the attendees, including comp attendees which aren't attached to a contribution.
Hi John,
I'm late to the party here, but I've been working on setting up our Community Engagement/Arts Ed department on tracking their activities with activities and/or elevated events. Neither have income associated, so I can't create a dashboard to report on attendance to different activity types, number of teachers/students (used in elevated events as attendees and number of guests), or location of the schools attending these events. We are just getting started on this, we have some lofty goals on how we would like to report on this in the future, and doing it in Analytics was the long-term goal.
