I noticed while testing a few extractions that when you re-label the segment numbers in sequence (001,002,003, etc.) it provides different counts then if they keep the same (out of order) segment numbers from importing. If the segments have the same priority and criteria, shouldn't both extractions provide the same results?
I am very puzzled by this and feel like I am missing something. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you're importing from a previous extraction and the priority order is the same it should be the same. Has the underlying data changed? Like if you're pulling an email list and had new subscribers, it would grow. I believe source numbers are ordered by segment number, so is that the difference?

Hello! Thanks for your response! The data shouldn't have changed because I adjusted the segment numbers after importing it and compared the original extraction with the copy I made (adjusting the segment numbers). I'm not sure about the source numbers.
Was the original extraction yours? I think you're got something else going on like a dynamic list or relative dates in the criteria. I just tried this with one of my extractions and can't reproduce it. Feel free to email me the criteria if you can't figure this out and I'll try to help.
I was trying to assist someone in our consortium. I did look for dynamic lists and there weren't any. However, I just tried it again and got my data for both extractions (with the same criteria) to produce the same counts regardless of what the segment number was. I think where I went wrong was a small difference in the header information that I didn't notice before. I feel a little silly now, but I do appreciate your help! Thanks again!
