Hello,
We're still quite new with Tessitura and although we have our heads around 3-4 financial reports, we haven't attempted to analysis our audience in much detail behind the top numbers.
I need to present at our board meeting in Feb and I won't have Analytics up and running by then, so I need to get some information off the system as it is. Unfortunately we never had T-Stats installed as part of our initial go live so I have to rely on the system reports that exist already.
As a starting point, I'd like to look at our panto which finished yesterday to see what kind of knowledge I can extract about that audience in particular.
I have no idea where to start! Could you let me know what reports you run to get interesting audience info out of the system and criteria you use? Always up for chatting to anyone over the phone if easier!
Thanks,
Kat
Hi Kat.
Just as a disclaimer they're are many data legends in the tess family. While I'm not one of them I do play with data and will tell you from my perspective.
There are a couple of things you can do without analytics or T-Stats. When Im playing around with a shows data to see trends Ill run the Order Export Utility on the performance and save the result as excel. What you'll get is a huge data sheet that you can pivot and pull charts from. Personally I much prefer to graph in excel over t-stats
Using the order date column and grouping the data you can get a cumulative sales graph. By filtering by pricetype you should be able to compare pricetypes to see who bought when. Sale time of day and day of week analysis can also be done here. You can even look at zone analysis if you use price zones.
Looking at source codes might give you insight into what marketing campaigns were most effective though honestly you can also use the performance by appeal report for that.
Depending on how much historic data you have you can do a simple churn analysis using lists.
Hope that helps. Give me a holler if you need anything or want to talk it through.
Heath
