Hi!
First time using this forum, so hello everyone!
I'm looking to report on people who haven't attended one of our shows for the last 2-3 years, and would love some help.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a report that will find me constituents that haven't booked for any show recently?
Thanks
Rhian
I would tend to find the account you are looking for with a Tessitura "list" based on ticket history. Then use the list in a report to get the details about the accounts that were selected in the list. There are many reports one can use with a list. One that comes to mind is the execute an output set report. Or you can use T-Stats.
Rhian,
I agree with Tom that lists seems like your best starting point.
Also, it is always good to remember the detail for which you are actually looking with someone like this. In your question you say both "attended" and "booked" which, while heavily related, are two distinct questions. Do you just want to report on those that have not ATTENDED (thus including those who bought tickets but did not show up), or did you just want people who have mainly ignored you for a few years? Also, do you want to include imported accounts from a long time ago that have NEVER purchased anything with you before, or are you looking for people who HAVE purchased in the past, but just not recently?
For almost ALL reporting questions that have to deal with how sales interact with a specific customer subset, you should be able to use existing reports rather than writing a new custom one. It is only in the extreme cases where you are dealing with highly customized and specific instances of patron/performance interactions that you would truly need a custom report. Depending upon your answers to these questions, custom reporting could be what you need, but not terribly likely, and, as Tom said, I would start working with lists and go from there.
