Are there any organisations that have worked out how to export a list of events happening on a certain day, into a word document i.e to create a front of house sign?

Hi Daniel – you could probably create a custom output set based on vs_perf and t_inventory. It depends upon what information you need, but that should get most of what you’d need.
In the output set cookbook, there is an element that outputs performance details as a string. You could probably modify the function that the element references to look at the tables above instead.

I've thought some more about your scenario and realised that an output set wouldn't work as it's not constituent driven. So it would have to be a report.
The Performance Listing report under the Ticketing and Box Office folder is probably the closest to what you are after, but you would have to run it for each current season to ensure you got all the perfs for the day and then combine the results in Excel. Also it may not include all the information you require for your House Signs. However, this report would make a very good starting point to be modified to be a custom report for your House Signs.
