Production daily sales history

Bonjour, mes amis.

Does anyone know of a report that would detail the daily movement (in terms of revenue taken or seats bought) for a given production over a specified period?

Have you written one for your organisation? And if so, would you fancy sharing it with me? Or perhaps there's a standard report you know of that I'm just completely ignoring...!

I mean, I could run the Daily Sales Report again and again and again, but frankly - who's got the time?

You would earn a cup of tea (with a muffin) next time you're passing the Young Vic. And, of course, my unending thanks.

Cheers!

  • Hi Chris,

Have you tried the advanced sales graph? You can save it to Excel and see the daily sales by performance.

    Hope all is well,

    Gary

  • I’m looking at that report, and if I specify a production, but not a performance, it doesn’t look to me like it gives actual daily sales for an entire production, but sales by how many days they occurred before each performance.  Am I reading that right?

    Thanks.

  • Hi, Leslie -

Yes, I think that's right. It's not *quite* what I was looking for, but it does at least answer part of the question.

  • The Advance Sales Graph shows sales by order date relative to the number of days prior to a performance.  The primary purpose of this report is to show the sales trend comparison between one or more productions leading up to the actual performance.

That being said, the underlying data does include the order date in the results, so it can easily be used to create alternate views, charts, graphs…
