Will Google map my Bed room with the help of my Roomba Vacuum 

Will Google Apple Amazon be able to buy an up to date map of your Living Rooms, Bedrooms?...

Based on this report in the New York Times, they might be able to with the help of our iRobot Roomba Vacuum cleaners?

If this NYC Times Article is to believe, iRobot the maker of the Roomba Vacuum cleaning Robots may be planning to sell the maps created by their latest generation of wifi connected robots to third parties.  

As an owner of the prior generation robot, I'm not clear that I have much to be concerned about.  

However, I'm wondering what other think:  

• Has this gone too far in terms of the creepy factor?  
• Would it even be allowed in the EU?
