What could we do with the TensorFlow Research Cloud? According to an announcement on Wednesday Google is making free compute resources available:
"To accelerate the pace of open machine-learning research, we are introducing the TensorFlow Research Cloud (TFRC), a cluster of 1,000 Cloud TPUs that will be made available free of charge to support a broad range of computationally-intensive research projects that might not be possible otherwise."

Some of my non Tess colleagues are using it to do image analysis to detect sea lion populations on beaches. Google "kaggle sea lion tensorflow" to see what some are doing. I wonder what could be done in organizations who have lots of digitized libraries that need to be catalogued or analyzed but are too large to manually do it in a reasonable amount of time?
