Hi,
Whenever I set up a schedule for an SSRS report (they're the ones with the blue icon, right?) nothing happens. I've tried to schedule several of these types of reports, it let's me set up the schedule, but it never arrives in my email. All the other reports (without the blue icon) work fine with scheduling. Has anyone else had this issue and is there a simple solution?
Thanks much!
Mark
Here is a quick check list of possible trouble points:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
- on the SQL server thats host SSRS make sure you have a valid email profile setup to send mail.
- Make sure the Tessitura Report Server service is running. "gsrbatch.exe"
- The application pool identity account running your REST services will need proper permissions on the shared reports directory. This is where the reports are generated by the scheduler.
Thanks so much Beula! I'll check with our IT dept to see if any of these resolves the issue.
I'm having the same trouble getting SSRS reports to be sent once I schedule them.
Did any of the suggestions help?
Hey Allan-I will let you know as soon as I hear back from our IT dept.
Hey Y'all,
I am now able to schedule SSRS reports! I don't speak IT, but this is what our most excellent IT member said he did to fix the problem:
The App Pool identity for the TessituraWeb instance had to have rights granted to the SharedReports folder.
