Hey All
Do any of you run a report on all New Patrons at your center? I am trying to come up with a report that will send us all brand new patrons, so that we can automatically send them a "Thanks for coming! Here's 20% off your next visit with us!" e-mail. My first thought is run an output set/List Manager, but is there a report that will ONLy show the New Patrons since the last report was run? We don't want to be e-mailing the same people over an over again. Thanks a bunch!

We have a New Record Summary report that we use for data integrity purposes. It lists all accounts created within a date range with options to filter by List, User Group and Original Source.
But it sounds like what you are looking for is a list of just patrons who are attending a performance for the first time (which could include patrons who were already in your system for another reason). You should be able to do this with a list. Looking for patrons who attended a performance since date x who have only attended one performance total.
Let me know if you'd like to look at the report, but I think it would be simpler to automate it with a dynamic list and a triggered email campaign.

Thanks Levi! I would love to look at the report. Marketing is really the ones who are requesting this report. They want it to send a trigger when a new patron comes to an event, so that we can automatically send an email with an offer to come back. Does that make sense? Let me know if you can help!

The New Record Summary Report is a standard Tessitura report, it is located in the Data Management folder. Everyone has that report in their environment automatically. If you don’t see it, then you may need to get IT or whomever manages Tessitura security in your organization to add it to your security group.
