PLANS
· What will happen to solicitations that are already created?
o Currently, our Giving Officers have created 2,000 – 3,000 solicitation records going through FY15
All Solicitations will be converted into Plans
o When running the Solicitation Listing report in the sandbox, inactive campaigns can be reported on and show in the report, but then I could not find those solicitation records in the patron accounts.
The Solicitation Listing report is still showing old Solicitation data (not the new Plan data). So it makes sense that you can't see find those.
· Are new reports being created for plans? List Manager/Extractions criteria? Reports for Steps?
UeYes to all of the above. We have not designed these reports yet, but we will ship with new reports for Plans and Steps as well as new List Manager criteria elements

· Can other staff member’s portfolios be viewed?
o Can a manager view a Giving Officer’s portfolio? Yes, if the user has rights to the Portfolio radio button and rights to the control group on the Giving Officer's worker type. Permissions here are not based on the Manager roles.
§ Would this be through the Officer’s personal record? Yes. You can always view your own Portfolio by using the My Portfolio icon on the toolbar. You can see others for which you have permission by going to the Officer's personal record.
· Can steps only be assigned within a security group? Yes, Step Types are control grouped so you can only assign and view those that you have rights to.
· Does a plan have to be selected during gift entry for it to show up in the “contributions” portion of plans? Yes, but we plan to add the ability to add a plan to a contribution from the Contribution Detail window (the one that opens when you double click on a contribution in Constituents)
o What if the donor does not have a plan? Then the contribution is not assigned to any Plan.
o What if the box office enters the gift? If the contribution added by the box office matches on Campaign a matching plan will be assigned automatically . We are still working out the details on this.
· Can a fund be assigned after the gift is entered and still show up in the “contributions” portion of plans? If you mean, can a fund be assigned to a Plan after a gift has been credited to that Plan, the answer is Yes Designations? Same with designations.
o Is it possible to turn off the requirement that campaign, designation and fund all have to match for the contribution to show up? Can it just be campaign and designation (this is how it is in v11) This is something we are still working out as we plan the migration scripts. My feeling is that we will have to honor just Campaign and Designation somehow because that is what is on many existing Solicitations.
