Advanced relationship criteria on definition report

Are there plans in the future to include advanced relationship criteria on the extraction manager definition report?  This would be very helpful to proofing extraction setup.

Thank you,

Chuck

  • As a matter of fact, Chuck as part of the v12 Communications Management roadmap item we have already added to v12 advanced relationship indicators in several areas including the list manager and list contents area, on the extraction segments in the extraction set, and in several of the reports.  In addition we have added a count breakdown to several reports and the list contents area that break the counts down by Individual, Individual with a primary affiliation to a household, Households, and Organizations.  We hope these improvements will help with the auditing of the list contents and criteria.

    Anna

  • Exciting!

  • Hi Anna,

Any chance there might ever be a search field in Extraction Manager similar to the "Search List Description" function in List Manager?  Because that would be super amazing as well :)

    Thanks,

    Chuck

  • Chuck,

Then I will tell our developer, Rob Pedersen that you think he is super amazing as he added that into v12 a couple weeks ago.

Great news! By any chance will that be added to the Report Menu as well? Ticketing setup?

Anywhere this feature is added it gets used and used and used and...

    Hi Anna
Will that also work on the drop down list of extractions to copy segments in from? Fingers crossed. That would entitle Rob to at least a couple of drinks in San Fran, I think.

  • Hooray for extraction search!!

Thanks for that piece of news, Anna.

  • Chris: In this version we have added a search for production elements available on all four tabs.  I am not sure where else we will be adding a search but I will say that we are adding searches to a few of the areas we are working, and I think as we move forward, as we do new screens and work in new features where possible we will try and add these as they come up in our stream of work in the next few versions.  Stay tuned!

Ken: We have not added the search in the import or copy segments from, partly because they are dropdown interfaces rather than list interfaces so it a bit different functionality.  I have logged your request as feedback.

    Thx Anna

I was just getting inspired by the way the List selection within the List element in the List Manager criteria screen now gives you the choice between a simple dropdown or a chiclet that opens the fully-searchable List selection screen. That's very nice when things get complicated (and isn't that...all the time? - as the Benson and Hedges ads used to say)

  • Oh. My. Goodness.  Search in Production Elements!!  I am levitating.  Cannot wait.

  • Is there a way include advanced relationship criteria on the extraction file?  I see it in the segment contents view but not in the extraction file. I also see the segment number in the extraction file but it would be nice to see the advance relationship reason also.
