I have a Version 11 and email related problem that I keep running into and hoping someone can help me solve it via list builder/output set builder.
I only want people who meet my criteria who have an email address. However the household may meet my criteria but the email itself lives on the affiliated individual. How do I account for that to make sure that I'm getting an output of records with email addresses not just records that meet my criteria but have affiliated records with emails?

This is a bit off the top of my head so there might be a hole in the theory, but...
It sounds like you would be able to pull a list of everyone who has the email address. So to get what you are after, I believe all you should need is to check the "Search Household" option for every criteria EXCEPT for the email criteria.
The way I visualize it is bottom up. I'm looking for people, but for some criteria I am "looking up" to the household. (I'm sure I stole that phrase from some of the training webinars. But that was the first time I really understood affiliations :) )
