We have a corporate file that was incorrectly used to affiliate many employees and board members and we now need to change the affiliated ID on those individuals to the correct corporate file.
I've gone to the individual file and opened the Edit Affiliation pop up, however I am unable to change the Affiliation ID. Is there a setting in security I've missed in order to change this or do we need to re-create all of these affiliations?
I'm guessing that can't be edited in the client - only deleted. Which makes it weird that the chicklet is there - it does look like an editable field.
I think you can get the results your looking for by updating T_AFFILIATION though. Obviously, try it in test first, but that would allow you to update all of the accounts en masse. Just updating the group_customer_no should do it if you want to change all the affiliations for that group account, or you could use a list in your update query.
