We are a few weeks from upgrading to V11 and I was interested in knowing other organizations experiencs with T-Stats 3.0
1) Did you using the 2.0 V11 Patch or upgrade to 3.0
2) Did you experience any issues with your workspaces
Thanks
Bob
Hi Bob,
Due to time constraints, we did the 2.0 v11 patch when we did our v11 upgrade. Part of the reason we did this is that we are completely changing our server setup for T-Stats with version 3.0 and we didn’t have the time to deal with it as part of the Tessitura v11 project. We’re now in the midst of setting up T-Stats 3.0, and once that is up, we’ll work on Dashboards.
We did not experience any issues with our workspaces.
Thanks,
David

Hiya Bob
We went live with V11 on the 3.0 patch the night it was released and upgraded to TStats 3.0 the same day (as we were crazy keen!), and got Dashboards up and running in the couple of weeks following that.
An issue we discovered in our TStats upgrade (and are currently working with JCA to get back up and running) is that our custom parameters did not roll over to 3.0. Still getting to the bottom of that one, but something to keep in mind.
Also another thing to look out for, in your About T-Stats pop up, the version number will still read 2.0, even if you are on 3.0. This is something that caught us out!
Cheers,
Jade

1. We didn’t use the T-Stats v2.0 v11 patch and lived without T-Stats for few days until the whole v11 critical services switchover process was over. Then we straight moved to T-Stats v3.0 - re-installed everything on a new server and moved the T-Stats config data, including the RMA’s, from the old server.
2. We had some small issues with the workspaces but that’s mostly because of moving data from one server to another (by detaching and re-attaching the T-Stats databases – which was proved not a good idea, it’s better to go for a backup and restore instead) and related glitch. Once that is sorted out all the old user workspaces worked just fine. Thanks to JCA for their all-out support throughout the entire process.
Hope this helps.
