Next Gen lab feedback

Hi People:

This is more of a thank you note than anything else, but I don't know where else to write it.  Since this is a forum, I figured it is at least mildly appropraite to put it here.

At this moment I'm writing a recap of my experiences at the conference for both my manager(s) and for our Tessitura Project Team.  As I was writing, I became progressively more aware of how incredibly useful and energizing the labs were.   I was able to take part in a couple of the Next Gen labs, through which I was able to see 'Plans' as they are today and 'communication preferences'.  I don't work in devlopment, but came away excited by this tool called 'Plans'.  By the end of 'Communication Preferences', I was looking at a roomful of terrific ideas, with not a bad one among the bunch.

Being able to have a voice and give feedback in these incredibly important areas was constructive on many levels.  It gave me great confidence on the direction of the Next Gen software, and also inspired me to come back and educate others on where things are headed and some glimpses of what we might expect.

The process is rare and very much appreciated.

Happy Monday, people,

Mark Sackett

There is actually only one Sandbox and it remains at the V12 Preview we used at TLCC.  So if your organization had previously been given a Sandbox login, that login still works and will give you access to V12.

Hi Andrew, since we are talking about it, is there any plan to make the v12 Sandbox available for licensee remote access like the way it was for v11 sandbox, and if yes, tentatively when it will be? Some of my Development colleagues, who could not be in the conference, were asking for it. Thanks for any feedback.

    Thanks Mark!

I was just thinking that the fact you were seeing Plans in the lab THIS year, is the direct result of the "Moves Management" visioning session we had at TLCC2011 LAST year.  This is where we got our first dose of user stories from many of the development users in the community and started us on the road that ended with the new Plans, Portfolios (and even the Mobile Portfolio).

We can already say that the feedback we received last week on Communication Preferences, QuickSale and the rest of the topics will ABSOLUTELY impact the finished product in great ways.

And for those of you who couldn't be in San Diego - your opportunity to provide feedback continues.  Watch this forum and other communications in the coming weeks and months for more ways to help ensure Tessitura meets your business needs in the best possible ways.
