Currently we have a credit card server on the same box as our 10.0.3.0 tessitura application server. We are scheduled to upgrade to version 11 however our credit card server service hangs from time to time and needs to be restarted. Our servers are virtualized and I am wondering if there is an issue with VMWare. I understand that the new payment gateway server service is more stable however does anyone knof of any tricks that can keep the present service stable?
I second adding a new machine for the credit card server. It does not need a lot of resources, but it will perform better when it is only handling credit card processing.
