In our testing, we are trying to add affiliates to an exisiting household and it will let us search for the affiliate, but when we select them, it only populates the ID and not any of the name information. Is there a setting that we've missed in order to populate prefix,fname,lname?

This is not the expected behavior and probably best addressed in a support ticket.

Hi-This may not be pertinent, as I don't know where the affiliate information does not appear.Just a question here: Do you have a custom header? That can impact what shows up.
