Hi,
We upgraded to Version 11 last week and noticed that we get 'Credit card client/server communication error: Error importing returned data into datastore' when a credit card got declined in Transend. Is there anything we forgot to setup in Tessitura to dispaly an accurate error message?
Thanks,
Sabina
We have an open ticket as well. I will let you know if we get any response.

Anna and Sabina,
Did you ever find out what was causing this issue? We are having the same errors and at the same time we are having transaction holds not released on customer credit cards. Did you have any issues with holds not being released when you encounter the communication error?
Chris

Sabina,
This is generally a normal error message when you start or restart the service or the machine. If you find you are having issues with processing feel free to open a support ticket.

Hi there all. I wanted to update this posting with the resolutions to these issues (in case anyone was keeping an eye on the discussion).
Sabina’s issue, that is a problem with declined cards, is specific to the v11.0.2 payment gateway service and Transcend and certain providers. The issue has been resolved in v11.0.3 which is the version in general release now. If you are seeing this behavior the best plan of action is to upgrade to the patch. As a reminder, the 11.0.3 is not an optional patch and is considered required. If you are already on v11.0.2 or an earlier version of v11 you should have a plan in place to patch. For those who have yet to upgrade make sure you download the current v11.0.3 general release.
Chris’ issue we have narrowed down to an issue for users on Transcend 2.x, v11 of Tessitura, that are running credit card auto billing. We have a proposed fix and are in the process of testing a resolution with Kauffman. Once we have confirmation that the fix is working we will have a hotfix in place. If you are experiencing this issue feel free to open a TASK ticket with us and we will advise you on how to proceed until the fix is available. I will update this posting once the fix has been posted on TASK. The behavior that you will see is that the auto billing report will show an error on some charges and for those charges in Transcend you will see the charges are Authorized and on Hold rather than declined.
If you have questions or issues with credit card processing, as always feel free to put in a TASK ticket for assistance.
Best,
