I understand the recommendation is to keep transactions on the household in v11, but there are some arguments within our organization for putting them on the individual affiliates instead. Can anyone weigh in if they are doing this, and with any pros or cons either way?

Preface: we are migrating to v11 in a few weeks.
It sounds like you are specifically referring to ticket transactions. In this case, we are opting to keep ticket purchases on the household record for now.
As far as donations are concerned, we are going to transact on the household record during transition and as our default until clear guidelines can be put in place. However, we are planning to start processing donations to the individual records as soon as possible. We have some concerns with memberships and reporting that are holding us up.
As we are so close to our official migration date and are running out of testing time, we have decided to put this on hold until after the migration (though we are actively brainstorming how to make this work).
