Are there any changes to the credit card server in version 11? Is there a Transcend upgrade?
Is it still recommended to have this running on its own server/box?

The V10 Credit Card Server is replaced in V11 by the Payment Gateway Windows Service (PGS). This new PGS is a direct replacement for the V10 CC server, supporting all current payment providers and giving us a foundation to look at additional capabilities as we move forward. In most cases the PGS can run on the same hardware as the V10 CC server. The PGS is supported on Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2.
As for Transcend, no upgrade is required and the PGS supports both Transcend 2.x and 3.x.

"I think it would still be best to have Transcend on its own machine and in most cases I think people will tend to run the new PGS on that same machine with Transcend. It is not actually required that PGS and Transcend run on the same machine so while I think that is what most will do, there is no issue setting it up differently."
