v11 Titles?

In affiliations, how do you add a title? It doesn't appear they are coming over from v10 associations. There's a column header for them, but I don't see any way to add one.

  • Check the table set up  for that Affiliation/Association – we had the same problem for Title and Salary --

  • Hi Brian,

You need to have the Use Title box checked for the affiliation type in TR_AFFILIATION_TYPE.

  • Hi Kevin,

I just came across this post because I was looking into the exact same problem. But I noticed a slight problem. I had a patron who had a Title listed in the Title field on the Relationships tab for their affiliation (in this case, "CEO"). But I couldn't edit the field.

So I found this post, went into the system table and ticked the Title box. When I came back, while I could now edit the Title field, the Title had been deleted from T_AFFILIATION for the record I had just been looking at. I was able to get into other records fine, but whatever record I had just been in (even if I exited out of the record before going to System Tables) had the Title wiped.

I tried to repeat it and once I got it to work and another time I didn't, so I'm not sure of the exact trigger, but I thought that I would flag it.

  • Hi Matthew,

I suggest that you open a help ticket for this so that they can look into it and/or note it as a bug.
