Convert to Individual vs. Remove Affiliation

This post is directed to those who are live with v11 or are getting close.  We've been playing around with both the Convert to Individual and Remove Affiliation functionality and are curious to hear how other organizations are using these.

Have you elected to use one or the other or both?

Do you have any security restrictions on these functions?

If you use both when do you elect to use one over the other?

Anything else you might care to share?

Thanks!

  • We are still just playing with these in test to make sure we fully understand the ramifications of doing anything here.  We expect to have a better idea in Mid April, but I think a cautious approach and a lot of testing makes a ton of sense.

    Thanks,

  • Dave, I definitely agree.  That's what we've been doing as well.  There are definitely a lot of little nuances to consider.  :-)  Glad we're not alone in thinking about these things.
