Beta 3 pword protected and constituent context

Former Member $organization

Hi all,

I have 2 questions re: v.11.

1. We have downloaded Beta 3 however the zip folders are password protected. Has anyone else had this issue?

2. After watching the 'Version 11 user training" for about the 4th time, I noticed that it was mentioned that when viewing the records of an individual, you can view them, for example, in the 'context' of either a teacher OR as a subscriber (or any other combination). Should I assume that when searching for an individual, in order to view ALL records for the individual that I click on their account rather than going through the school, household, organization etc?

Thanks as always,

Tash

  • Hi Natasha,

I can answer your 2nd question.  The context reference only applies to what is displayed in the Constituent Navigator (the box in the header that displays all members of a group) when you open an individual constituent. If an individual is affiliated with a household and an organization, which group is displayed in the Navigator depends on how you opened the constituent record.  If you open the individual constituent record directly, it will display the primary household in the Navigator.  If you open the household first, the household group populates the Navigator, and if you then select the individual from the Navigator the household will remain in the Navigator.  If you open the organization record first, the organization group will populate the Navigator, and if you then select the individual from Navigator the organization will remain in the Navigator.  To see the help topic for the Constituent Navigator, click here.

However you get to a constituent record, all the information on the tabs of the record is the same; you can always see all affiliates of an individual on the Relationships tab.  And any time an individual is returned in search results, all groups that the individual is affiliated with are listed in a tree under the individual.
