Street 3

Hi,

I've had a look at V11 documentation and Epic Story discussions but I am coming here as I hope someone can explain.

To integrate with the UK's Quick Address Search we save the first line of the address in Street2 and the second in Street1 if the address is a long one, or just save into Street1 if it is a short one.

When we upgrade to V11 are we going to find that our longer addresses are displayed with the first two lines switched or is this something we can control in the migration?

Thanks, Suzanne

  • Hi Suzanne,

The data will still be in the same columns in the database, but the display order on the Tessitura screens will change so that it is Street 1 (Street Address), Street 2 (Optional Address), Street 3 (brand new and optional).  If you want to use the old display order, there is a T_DEFAULTS setting that allows you to customize the display order.

  • We were thinking about using Street 3 for Business names that need to appear in Addresses.

Hello wise Tessitura users and Tessitura staff,

We're making some business practice decisions and have been discussing the newly added Street 3 line.  I see that using it is optional but before we start to think about what sort of data might live there one of our users had an excellent question.  How does Street 3 play with NCOA?  We are currently using (and loving) the NCOA utility every 90 days and plan to continue to do so.  Does anyone know if the NCOA utility will put any data in Street 3?  Conversely if we put data there will it wipe it out?

Thank you for any insight you can provide!

    Kjersten
