There is a migration default to migrate the restrictions to the newly generated accounts: COPY_GENTAB_RESTRICTIONS which is a yes/no option.  If you want to leave the restrictions just on the household then set the value to No, if you want the restrictions to copy to the newly created individuals for Name 1 and Name 2 then set to Yes (which is what we generally recommend).  If you want to copy the restrictions to just the name 1 account and not the name 2 account, this would be a customization; the easiest way to do it would be to set the default to Yes so all the accounts have the restriction and then once you have upgraded to v11 you can find all the new name 2 accounts (set to A2 on the affiliation) and change the restrictions in T_CUSTOMER to 3 (none).  If you do this you should be aware that you will get a different behavior in lists and extractions for the record then you did in v10.  For a mailing or email only the A1 account and household would be excluded and it is possible that the A2 would be included.  To have the system work like it did in v10 then you want to set the migration default to Yes.

Greetings,

We have a question regarding the first question.  In regards to the do not mail indicator that would have been on the original v10 constituent record, we don't want the do not mail indicator to be on the Name2 record once it has a new account created in v11.  Since we have so few email addresses for Name 2 we would like to have that left off for now.  Is that possible?
