Change Affiliation

Hello!

I feel like I've seen/heard this answer already. It's probably right in front of me and I just can't see it. :)

When I'm mapping my OI constituent records the documentation recommends setting the N2 Affil Type as Primary Contact. Generally, I don't think we'd have a problem with that.

However, it raised the question "How easy is it to change an affiliation type?".

I'd like to assume it would be pretty easy. Can someone confirm that for me?

Thanks!

  • Beth,

Changing affiliation types is quite easy – similar to updating an association type in v10.  If you want to have a look a v11 before you have it installed in-house you are welcome to get a login to the sandbox and take a look.

  • Thanks Anna!

That was exactly what I wanted to hear. :)

I am definitely interested in getting access to the sandbox. I actually did the survey last week but still can't find where to log in to the sandbox. Should I have done something else after the survey?
