I'm wondering if the idea of being able to drag and drop documents into Research Documents has been brought up? Is this technically possible?

Thanks for the suggestion. It doesn't currently work this way, we'd have to see if it is technically feasible in the future. I will say that the ability to attach documents in places other than Research/Documents has also been a fairly frequent suggestion and one that we are taking a closer look at for a future release.

this could be either a)off topic or b)me showing my ignorance but my understanding is that the document is imported into the database as an object - is that correct? Is there any way we could have a hyperlink to a network document instead?
