Thought of this question some time after the training session ended today. Scenario: Duplicate accounts exist, each has a name1 and name2 and they are not merged before the upgrade. Two new households are created out the two accounts, and four new accounts are created for the individuals. How would we proceed to merge them? Merge the individual accounts? What about the household accounts? Do those accounts need to be merged separately?
If you merged just the individuals and not the households the affiliations from the delete records would be added to the keep records but they would be made non-primary (because an individual can only have one primary affiliation).
