September Service Pack Preview

Hi Everyone,

Here is a preview of the September Tessitura service pack - the expected delivery date is the week of September 7.

  • Important Security Update (15.0 & 15.1) - We are updating an underlying third party component of the Tessitura application to its latest version as part of regular application maintenance. The latest version of the component includes several security related updates, and members should install this service pack as part of good security maintenance practice.
  • Expiring Source Notifications (15.1)- Users in the Administrator user group, and any other user group that is specified, will receive a notification when one or more of the source numbers in the T_Defaults default source_no are going to expire. This gives system operators notice and time to update the source number(s) so that they don't experience problems with online transactions due to expired source numbers.
  • N-Scan Monitoring Page (15.1) - This is a new page in the Tessitura Web application that allows a staff member to monitor one or more N-Scan stations' scan results on an ongoing basis. This is primarily in support of contactless scanning so that attendants can proactively assist patrons having scan difficulty.
  • Adding doors open and close times to Season Maintenance (15.1) - With the release of auto-attend last month, we want to provide the ability to work with door open and close times in bulk. This is because door open time is required for auto-attend, and some members may not have ever set or used that field in the past but may be required to use it with Auto-attend.
  • Various defect fixes

As a reminder, 15.0 service packs will only include critical defect and security updates moving forward. To take advantage of all of the ongoing application improvements, please upgrade to the latest service pack of Tessitura 15.1.

Open Studio

We are excited to launch a new monthly series this week on Wednesday, August 19, called Open Studio. This new program will be an in-progress look at some of the features we're working on for the Tessitura Community in a casual webinar format. See the event page for more details.

Thanks!
