The new account pages (order history, etc.) all have a new side navigation system, which includes links to the old pages (account and interests), but the account and interest pages are stuck with just the top navigation "tabs" referring only to each other. This is certainly a major sticking point for us as we contemplate things like mobile tickets.

Great question, we have been adding many new features to the Account management section like Upcoming Events, Return Requests, and our forthcoming Digital Content feature that made the new navigation much more helpful than the older style. Unfortunately, with all of those updates, the pages you mentioned did not receive the new navigation. We are planning to release an update in TNEW 7.37 which will allow you to add the new navigation to those pages if you would like to have the entire account management section look the same.
Since it is a minor feature, it did not make it onto our Roadmap, but you can always track what we are working on there.
