Hi everyone,
For those using TNEW, I would like to share with you what we are currently working on as we prioritize efforts to help you during this critical time. Our focus has been to identify opportunities to help your efforts in generating revenue online as well as reducing administrative overhead by allowing more self-service options for your patrons.
Below are the new features we are actively working on. Timelines below are current projections and are subject to change. You can also check out our TNEW roadmap for a complete list of what we are currently working on.
One-Page Giving
Currently projected for a mid-May release of v7.35.0.
In order to support your immediate fundraising needs, One-Page Giving significantly streamlines the process of donating for a patron. The standalone purchase path offers an easy way for a patron to enter or select a donation amount, enter a few personal details like email address and then proceed to payment – all on one page. It is simple to set up and configure as it utilizes existing administration tools including contribution types, hosted payments, TNEW admin editors, and guest checkout configuration (even if you don’t use guest checkout in your main purchase path). You can create as many of these one-page giving forms as you need and can customize the content for each one. A single “opt-in” field which will allow for a customer service issue (CSI) to be generated for things like email opt-in or gift aid.
Gated Digital Content
Currently projected for release in June.
Many of you are already looking for opportunities to leverage TNEW to allow patrons to purchase or register for digital content. To support this, we are extending TNEW to provide a more robust way of managing access to digital content – from streaming or on-demand, to video, audio, tours, interactive classes, etc. By creating a new “digital content” hub in the account section of TNEW, digital content can only be accessed by logging in with a username and password. The customizable digital content page offers you a method to embed the html code snippet for your preferred content delivery service.
Pay What You Can
In conjunction with digital content feature above, we are building a better mechanism to provide the patron flexibility in defining what they are willing to pay for a particular item or event. We will be updating the event details page to allow you to configure whether a product offers editable prices. If configured for a product, an open text field is available for the patron to enter in a preferred amount.
Partially Paid Renewals
We recognize that many of you have on account money from returns being applied to future events. We will be updating TNEW to support partially paid renewal / rollover orders that are processed online by a patron.
All best,
