We were wondering if there was a timeline yet for when version 16 would be released? We're trying to outline our projects for 2020 and beyond and I haven't seen any mention of v16 yet. We would actually all be happy to have a year off from upgrades but if there is any rough timeline available, it would be super helpful to know. Thanks!!

Right now we anticipate releasing v16 in late 2020 (think roughly end of Q3 or during Q4). As we get closer to that time we'll know more specifically what the release window will look like and communicate that to the community. If that changes we'll be sure to send out updated information. In the mean time be sure to keep up to speed as you can with Service Packs on v15/v15.1, and if you have work around moving from the SOAP API to the REST API, move that forward as well in anticipation of the release.

Hi Chris,
When will the official end of support for V15 be? As in when V16 is released how long do organisations have to make the switch?
We're putting together timelines for next year and would like to understand how this will affect out SOAP to REST API migration for our web Dev's.
We are self hosted.

We haven't yet determined an official v15 end-of-support window - it will be at least 6 months from the time of v16 official release. We encourage you to schedule your upgrade as soon as is reasonable for your organization after the official release date, and you should consider starting your SOAP -> REST conversion while on v15/v15.1, so that it doesn't become a roadblock to your v16 upgrade. There is much to be excited about in v16, so you'll want as little as possible standing in your way!
