Is anyone else having an issue with Elevated Events Guest Name in v14.1?
When we enter a guest constituent ID triggering the guest name field to generate with the salutation, then we manually change the salutation to be the name as it should appear on place cards and save it, everything appears correct but then when we close the special event screen and re-open it, the guest name has changed back to the salutation. The guest name pulls correctly (the manually entered name appears) in elevated event reports but when someone looking at a donor's special event screen they can't tell if the names have already been updated or not and it's greatly slowing down our special events staff and making extra work.
Has anyone encountered this and come up with a solution? Is there a patch in the works to fix this? Thanks.

This is has been raised as a defect and can be found on the Tessitura Reported Defect List as #122464 'When viewing Guests in the Elevated Event Record on a Constituent Record the Salutation 1 associated with the Guest's Constituent ID will always display, even if the Guest Name has been edited.' Although the edited guest name reverts back to the Salutation on the event record, when viewing the attendees in the Elevated Event Campaign or running the Event Listing report will show the edited guest name. It is in Development although I do not have a specific release date available for when it will be resolved.
