What's New in v14 Document Available

We are pleased to announce that the What's New in v14 document is now available. This document details the new features, changes, and enhancements in v14. We publish the document in draft form while we work to update the help system content for v14. This means that we will continue to publish periodic updates to the document as we complete new sections of the help system updates. At this time the document contains an overview of the new Resource Scheduling feature and details of the Payments window overhaul. Look for details on the new Contact Permission functionality to be published in the next couple of weeks. You can find the What's New in v14 document here: http://www.tessituranetwork.com/network/Learning/Documentation/v14/Whats%20New%20in%20v14.aspx Kevin Sheehan Senior Technical Writer

  • Hi Beth,

Apparently I was accidentally excluding the Attendance History screen topic when I was generating the What’s New document. I’ve corrected that error and reposted the doc, so if you download it again (you may need to clear your cache first) you should see the Attendance History section in there now.

To quickly sum up, the Attendance History screen displays performance and special access area attendance entries for a constituent, including attendance entries for member admission scans (i.e. the data in T_ATTENDANCE). You could, theoretically, come up with a custom process to insert data into that table for a list of constituent who attended an activity or event, but there is no standard way to do so right now without scanning a ticket or a membership. If you did want to create that custom process, one thing to keep in mind is that the description displayed on the Attendance History screen is not pulled directly from T_ATTENDANCE, it’s pulled from the performance or special access area tied to the attendance entry, so if you were inserting custom attendance entries, you would probably want to set up a special access area that you use just to reference the description.

  • Hi Kevin!

I assumed it was overly hopeful that non-ticketed things would be updated here. But it's not a big deal. The tab itself is exciting as it is. :)

Thank you so much for clarifying and updating the documentation!
