Tessitura Sandbox Updated to v14

Greetings all.  We have updated the Tessitura Sandbox to v14 this week.  The Tessitura Sandbox is a version of the software we publish for access to versions in progress or the version in release and is available to all sites in the Tessitura Community.  In this case we are publishing a pre-beta version of v14.  This is software still in development and the QA cycle as such we expect you may encounter some issues and defects which will of course be resolved before we release.  The goal of getting this to you early is so you can review functionality, plan for the release on your side, and give us feedback before we have released the software.

At this point we are still completing some of the features in the v14 suite, in this release we are making available the updated Payment functionality, the constituent side of Contact Permissions (what will ultimately fulfill the DPA requirements in the UK) and other small enhancements.  In this release of the sandbox we are NOT publishing any of the Resource Scheduling functionality.  This area is still in very active development and not quite ready to be published.  We know many of you are keen to work with this functionality, as soon as it is ready we will get it in the sandbox and announce that it is available here.

Want more details on v14 features and functions?  Look for a first pass at the What’s New in v14 documentation to be release by the start of the New Year.

If you  have feedback on the published new features, have questions about the sandbox like: what’s my login? Or do I have a login?  Please email us at roadmap@tessituranetwork.com

  • Hi Anna,

About the defects present in the alpha — are you able to keep us posted on what's in the queue? I love kicking around pre-release software, but only if the lines of communication are open. There's nothing I find more frustrating that finding something broken and being unable to A: fix it myself, B: tell someone who can fix it that it's broken, or C: verify that someone who can fix it knows that it's broken.

I'd be happy to just email roadmap@tessituranetwork.com, but I don't want to create more work for us if there's a better option.
