Plans to cap fees?

Hello All,

Are there any plans to overhaul the fee functionality to add the ability to cap fees? It would be great if the fees could work like the pricing rules! That would provide endless possibilities.

    Gloria,

    There are no fee related items on the current roadmap.  

    And now comes my shamless plugs.  #1: We will be sending out phase 1 of the roadmap survey at the end of May/early June and Roadmap Day is June 29th kicking off phase 2 of the roadmap feedback process.  We are always looking for more feedback and would love to hear from everyone. (Follow this forum for upcoming announcements)

    Plug #2: We also want to hear about smaller changes and tweaks and to that end accept enhancement requests year round via TASK.  We work hard to incorporate some enhancement requests into every version, for example stay tuned for a check/cheque number field that accepts alpha numeric characters and is 30 digits long in v14.  

    Gloria, in this case if you were looking for a fee rule engine/fee overhaul, that probably fits in the roadmap category.  If you were looking for a way to set a fixed cap on a single fee that might fit better as an enhancement request.
