V12 Pricing Mutliple GL Codes

Hello,

We're working on some creative plans for ticketing next season.  Between now and then we are moving from Version 11 to Version 12.  My question is can you send revenue from a single price type to multiple GL codes in Tessitura Version 12?  I could not find a way in the sandbox.

Thank You,

Andrea

  • Hi Andrea,

I don’t believe you would be able to break down one price type into different GL’s but, you could have different levels in the price map that go to different GL’s. The price your ticket sellers and the general public would see would be the full ticket amount. Only on back end would you know there is a difference.

For example: base ticket price is the first price level to the ticket revenue GL. The next price level could be your facility fee that goes to that GL. So one and so forth. Again, when a ticket seller selects the actual price type and hovers over a seat to see the cost, they would see the total amount.

That is my understanding of price mapping in V12. I could very well be wrong and I hope someone else will correct me if this example is not correct.
